Helixnet system not accepting configuration changes via CCM

 

 

Question: I have a Helixnet question. We have a Helixnet system with a HMS master station and 4 speaker stations. All speaker stations are connected over Ethernet.

 We pre-installed the config at our office - and it worked fine.

 Now we have placed it on site and into the customers network, the following occurs:

When we want to change a setting in a role it changes but then it goes back to the original.

example: speaker stations menu's are locked.

In the CCM we do unlock and it changes but directly changes back to lock itself.

 Is this something you have experienced before and do you have a solution?

 

Answer: Problem solved with TeamViewer remote login.

The client had managed to turn the HMS into a link-member. Changing it back to link-master everything started to work.

All configuration changes are made via the HMS link-master .

  • Whether in a single system or a linked system with several over HMS units. If the link master is powered off or not reachable then any previous audio routes are maintained across the system but any new changes are ignored until the HMS link master is back on line
