HelixNet: Is it possible to disable / blankout / delay the HMS-4X screensaver function?

Question:  My stage manager sits in front of the HelixNet HMS-4X main station and would like to know if there are any options to delay the activation of the screensaver function and or disable the functionality of this feature?  They don't want to touch a control every 5 minutes or so to reset the function.
Answer:  The screensaver mode shows the channel labels and is enabled by default. The display screens enter screensaver mode when the Main Station has been inactive for 10 minutes.  The timer activation cannot be altered via the front panel or the CCM web browser.
NOTE: The screensaver function can be turned off but if this option is selected the user can run the risk of permanently burning in the channel names on the display.  The screensaver options help prevent this from happening.

From the HMS-4X main station menus:
To exit screensaver mode, press any key on the front panel.
To enable or disable the screensaver:
1) In Menu mode, select Station Settings and then Display.
2) From the third menu, select Screensaver.
From the CCM web browser:
1) Click on the Roles Tab
2) Click on Station to expand the menu options
3) Click on Screensaver to expand the options / select an option

The user has the following options for the screensaver:
  • Channel Name
  • Hostname
  • Role Name
  • Blank
  • Disabled
