HelixNet: How can I tell if interface modules are properly connected to my HMS-4X main station?

Question:  How can I tell if 2-wire / 4-wire modules are properly connected to my v3.0 HelixNet HMS-4X main station?
Answer:  Two places on HMS-4X to verify how good or bad the module detection goes:
1. In Diagnostics->Hardware->Slot N PCB you should see things like internal part number and serial number of the module.
If you see None in the slot where something should be, it means that the problem is electrical or mechanical. Like the module
is not properly inserted, is broken, or the connector is broken either on the module or on the HMS. Try a different slot or a
different HMS to make sure.
2. If the module shows up in Diagnostics->Hardware->Slot N PCB but not in the Modules->2W/4W Slot N Port Y, it means that
the processor on the module is either not powering up properly or cannot connect properly to the HMS main processor.
Version mismatch and configuration corruption are the most common problems. You might be able to see the software version in Administration->Software->Current->2W/4W Slot N Port Y. Reset to default might help. Downgrading/Upgrading again might help
as well.
Downloading the logs to USB stick from the advanced menus and sending them in to Clear-Com may be necessary to track down
a module not booting up properly / base station main board issue.
