HelixNet Powerlines - Can I use AES cable?

Question: Can I use AES cable for HelixNet Powerlines from HMS-4X to intercom stations

Answer: Generally speaking; Yes.

But please read onwards.
AES cable is generally low in capacitance which is an excellent characteristic for the high frequency data of powerlines.
However, AES cable CAN be of a smaller cable gauge which provides high resistance for the power to the intercom stations. Keep an eye on the cable gauge for longer cable runs and powerlines heavily loaded with intercom stations. Aim to use only cable with 23 AWG or larger gauge (smaller AWG number is always better).

Large gauge AES cable can be an excellent cable choice for HelixNet Powerlines.
