HMS-4X is not getting out of boot up mode; stuck at phase 1, phase 2 & cycling forever. Recovery from bricked HelixNet Basestation

HelixNet base station recovery via USB Micro port  Here is the procedure to bring the HelixNet base station back from the“stuck-mode” dead…  Take the current .ccb file (Attached) and make a copy of it.   Then rename the copied file to “npl.ccb”Put that on your stick in the root directory.
NOTE:  Not all USB sticks will work with HelixNet.  You may need to experiment until you find one that will work.  Try formatting the stick (this will erase everything on the stick... beware).   Grab your USB to micro USB adapter and plug the stick into the micro USBport on the HMS-4x.Push in both the Main volume knob and the Aux volume knob and hold themin while you push in the Headset knob on the left side.  While still holding in the volume knobs, release the Headset button and then release the volume knobs. You will see the far-left keyset display show “NET BOOT” on the left bythe CALL button and “USB BOOT” on the right side of that OLED display above theTALK button. Push the USB BOOT talk button and it will do its thing and when it’sfinished.  If the update fails or thescreen returns to the NET BOOT / USB BOOT screen, try a different USBstick.  They are not all created equal. We have anecdotally found that smaller drives seem to work better. Do the normal upgrade procedure using the original file that you made acopy of before.  If you want, you canalso do a reset to defaults to wipe out any artifacts that may have caused theissue in the first place. But remember that this will wipe the map clean, though I believe it doesn’t wipe the IP address… not sure about that, though. After you are done, make sure you also push the .gz archive file intothe base for the new HX IIs-BP’s code upgrade.
