Helixnet: What is the HelixNet Technology (what data is carried between Helixnet basestation and beltpack)

Question:  Ido know that the connection and technology between main station and belt packsare Clearcom propriety protocol. However, is there a general form of systemthat it is similar to? For example, is the system a full duplex, half duplex orfull duplex emulation connection? Is it similar to time division duplexing?
Answer: Itis a full duplex digital system using similar function to IP data packets. The technology is IP at layer 2 and Ethernet at theMAC layer. The PHY layer is similar to OFDM (think cell phone technology). It'sfull duplex and we're spreading the bits and bytes over a range of frequencies(2MHz to 30MHz). That's why it's important to have shielded cables.
