Helixnet: Connection Lost message displayed on Helixnet BP

If this message is seen on a Helixnet BP .. then it means the tx/ rx data between the BP and the mainstation is very low
“ConnectionLost” may indicate that your BP is on the endof a very long cable  The message could also mean that the BP was too far on the line and could notreach the Mainstation. Depending on how far you could have either “Connection Lost” or notenough power for the Beltpack to function (i.e. blank screen, with or withoutboth Talk keys flashing).
Use the Diagnostic screen on the BP to check the Tx / Rx numbers being displayed : the minimum level is 40 MbpsIts important to check the level when you have as many people as possible talking on the same channel as you would expect during a show / production

Reply from customer: I went down to visit end user, and foundthat with only one pack connected at the left hand side spots position we weregetting around 30Mbps on Tx and Rx (in diagnostics), and at the end of a chainof 6 packs barely getting 2Mbps, so no wonder they were having problems. As the XLR runs were installedsuch a long time ago and there are no plans of where the tie-lines run, I canonly assume that that one particular position (and to a lesser extent the otherspots positions) are well over 100m, left-hand spots maybe even over 250m. We ran in a new cable (30m) directlyfrom Line 2 to the spots positions and we were up to well over 100Mbps.
