Helixnet: Helxnet BP dispaly shows "connecting"or [N/A] and does not show the channels names

Question:  When I connect my Helixnet BP to a base station it shows connecting [N/A] but does not complete . The BP was working ok when it was part of a linked set but now its being used on a standalone base station.

Answer: The Beltpack behavior described here is correct and is due to linking main stations together When main stations are linked together each Partylines/Channels is given a unique ID.
Meaning thatChannel A-B-C-D on one station have a different internal ID from ChannelA-B-C-D on another station so that when two stations are linked together youend up with 8 unique channels, let’s say A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H.
The “benefit” in thisscenario is that if you move a Beltpack that had channel A and F from onestation to the other it keeps the selected channels (A and F) properly.
However  ifyou move this Beltpack to a third station that is not linked to the first two, the Beltpack says [N/A] because the selected channels are notavailable anymore.
You can either - link this third station with the first twoand the Beltpack would automatically find the originally selected channels Aand F. - go in the Beltpack menu and select other channels available on the mainstation it is now connected to - resetthe Beltpack to default and it will automatically pick the first two channelsit gets from its Mainstation.
So manually resetting Beltpacks to default or going directly tochannels assignment on the Beltpack is required.
