Connecting LQ to RTS via 4W
How to connect your LQ to an RTS system via 4-Wire.
Instructions
Confirm LAN 1 on the LQ is properly connected to your network
Locate a straight through RJ-45 cable
Connect one end of the RJ-45 cable to Port A on the LQ
Connect the other end of of the RJ-45 cable to your matrix.
If your intercom does not have an RJ-45 connection for 4-wire please consult the pinout diagram at the bottom to make a RJ-11 or DB9 adapter
Open AZedit, navigate to Alphas → Ports.
Locate the port the LQ is plugged into and change the alpha by double clicking the port
Open System → keypanel assignment, select the desired panel and add the alpha. Don’t forget to add the “AF” on the listen side
If there is a need for more then one channel between the LQ and your RTS system repeat steps 2-7 again using Port B on the LQ
When connecting to RTS you will need to switch the talk/listen pins on the 4w LQ port
Connect to the LQ CCM (Web interface)
Navigate to the Device page, select ports
Change the port function, “to panel”
Test the audio connection
