LQ V4.2 now has a Save And Restore function

Question : Does the LQ Save and Restore function just save the one units configuration or can it store the entire linked set?Please don’t forget to update the labels

 

Answer:

You can save the LQ device configuration to a file in order to keep a backup copy of your setup or to configure a stand-by LQ device.


When restoring settings, there is an option to restore IP settings. Save and restore is achieved from :

The LQ unit front panel menus with a USB stick
In the front panel menu system, navigate to: Administration>Settings>Save

The CCM
In the CCM, navigate to: Device>General>Save/Restore System Settings

When working with a Link-Group you must:
Save and restore Link-Group settings on each device
When restoring settings, you must restore Link-Master settings first (before restoring the Link-Members)
