    • LQ: Why do I see different setting on the LQ linked screen

    I have 3 LQs linked together, I like the fact that i can change setting s by logging into any of the 3 units. however I have noticed that some settings are not displayed when i browse into LQ #1 and make changes to LQ # 3 compared to when I browse directly to LQ #3

     

    Solution

    This is by design LQ/HMS/Gen-IC allow you to configure "system wide things" using entry into any device

    for parameters that are specific to a device you need to drill into the device in question

     

    example

    if you link a LQ to a GEN IC 

     

    1. you only get the register / un register button if your PC is pointed directly at the LQ 

     

    1. if you view the LQ device screen via the GEN-IC there  is no open to un-register
