Question: We need confirmation that the LQ-4W2 can be usedto do the intelligent linking like the VOICE 2 with ECS v5.2 matrices.
Answer: Yes, ECS or EHX matrices would be the same. LQ can carry the audio but the matrix data (via LAN) has to be carried separately. With 4wire over LQ , the MVX port only sends audio, no call signalling. The two Matrices are linked over IP. This connection sends control data, call signalling and inter-matrix communication. See attached drawing as example.
* Note: All matrices in networked system must have same firmware version.
