IP Products: What color should the LQ front panel buttons be when linked together?
The front panel programming buttons on the LQ interfaces will show the connection / power status of the interfaces
when they are powered up.
Solid Green - The LQ interface is powered on and connected to the network.
Solid Red - A solid red light on the keypad shows that the unit has lost its IP connection to the Link-Master and that
the network connection should be checked.
Flashing Red - A flashing red light shows that there is an ID conflict within the LQ-Group, meaning that two LQ units
are trying to connect to a Link-Group using the same link ID. To correct this unlink the units link to
the master and relink to an available ID.
Flashing Green - LQ buttons will flash green on a power up / power cycle until the unit acquires it's IP address / link.
If the buttons flash for more than 2 minutes / constantly this is an indication that the interface is not
receiving enough power to properly power the device, check to see if the unit is receiving enough power
from a POE switch.
