IP Products: Can a pair of LQ-4W2 interfaces pass panel connection data?
Solution update Sept 2015 : Connecting V-series panels over LQ
Using LQ firmware V2.0.38 or later . LQ4W boxes now support the RS422 panel data. Clear-Com Eclipse series panels, Drake 4000 and panels can now be connected over IP using LQ4 units. In the LQ CCM (web browser) setup select Assignments > Direct connections.
Solution date: Mar 2015
With the initial release of LQ interfaces the 4W2 interfaces only pass audio from IP connected units, no RS-422 panel data is transported so no Clear-Com Eclipse series panels can be remotely connected across IP.
To remotely connect Clear-Com Matrix / Eclipse panels over IP use our Voice2 series interfaces.
please refer to future software releases for LQ regarding this function
