Question: I have several LQ 2-wire and 4-wire interface throw down devices located at our church campus that connect
several party-line systems and wireless IC back to our Eclipse HX Delta frame. What features do we gain if I were to upgrade
them to version 3.0 firmware?
Answer: The following new features are available to users upgrading to the new version 3.0 firmware.
• GPIO functionality (LQ-R4WG8, LQ-R4WG8, LQ-R2W4+4W4)
• Connection to IVC-32 card: 8 IVC-32 ports per LQ device, in addition to the unit’s hardware ports
• Multi-Channel ports
• Local Audio Mix (LAM) (also known as submix) for fast optimization of network and device resources
• Program IP details from LQ front display menus
• Context sensitive help and tutorial in the browser-based configuration tool (CCM)
• Device resource meter for quick assessment of available device processing capacity
• PiCo HX matrix to LQ trunking (EHX 8.7 and above)
