Using LQ V4 firmware:
The limits on LQ v4 are 24 partyline channels + 24 direct channels. Yes, you can have 24 channels and a further 24 directs in the link-group.
* Please note that when a LQ v4 is linked with HelixNet, direct channels aren't supported and the number of channels is fixed and limited by the licenses on the HMS (Helixnet) in the Link-Group to 12 or 24 channels.
