WALKIE TALKIE TO FREESPEAK II BASE-II CONFIGURATION VIA CCM

 

PINOUT: Kenwood Walkie Talkie 5 Pin K Cable to FreeSpeak II Base II - RJ45 and DB-15 Connector

 

  1. Log into the your FreeSpeak II Base II CCM

  2. Default login credentials: ID: admin / PW: admin

 

Assignment Setting:

  1. Navigate to “Assignment” tab

  2. Select the desire “Channel” (e.g Channel 1)

  3. Select and add “+the “4W-Port” connected to the walkie talkie

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4-Wire Port Setting:

  1. Navigate to “Device” tab

  2. Select “Ports

  3. Select the “4W-Port” connected to the walkie talkie

  4. Select “Port Function - ‘To Matrix

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GPIO Setting:

  1. Navigate to “Device” tab

  2. Select “General

  3. Select “GPO1” 

  4. Select “Source” to the channel assigned “Destination” to the walkie talkie (e.g Channel 1)

  5. Select “+” to create new “GPO” (Control Events)

    1. Source = Channel assigned to the walkie talkie (e.g Channel 1)

    2. Destination = 4W-Port connected to the walkie talkie (e.g 4W-Port 1)

    3. Action Type = Call (4W-Port 1 receive call) - Press “Talk” on FSII Base Channel 1 to send audio to the Walkie Talkie.
