Wireless: How do i upgrade the firmware for the FSII-TCVR and FSII-BP via the FSII-BASE-II?

This video shows how to navigate through the CCM for the firmware upgrade process.

The upgrade process is the same for the FSII-TCVR and the FSII-BP, provided that they are connected to the base.

You can find the firmware files via https://www.clearcom.com/Download-Center/Software-Firmware

Please note: Upgrade the FSII-TCVR then followed by the FSII-BP

 

Once FSII-TCVR firmware upgrade is done, you can repeat the process for the FSII-BP.

Ensure that the FSII-BP is registered and connected to the base with a role as the firmware upgrade is done OTA (over-the-air) from the FSII-TCVR to the FSII-BP.

  • The loading process will take a few minutes. Once finished, the firmware upgrade will begin on the FSII-BP units.

What to expect on the FSII-BP units during the firmware upgrade. Once completed, it will reboot and attempt reconnection to the base station.
