Wireless: Can the FSII BP beltpack be powered and operated continuously via its USB port.
Q: I would like to know if it is possible to operate the beltpac continuously while it is connected to a power source via its micro-USB port. Our team often has extended production sessions, and ensuring sustained operation without battery constraints would be highly beneficial.
According to the website, it can be operated continuously via a USB port:"18+ hour battery life or USB port for continuous operation".
If I try to turn on the device while it is off and connected to the micro-USB cable as the display indicates the charging status, instead of powering up and becoming operational, it reverts to charging mode with the device turned off.
A: The beltpack can be operated continuously as advertised
To accomplish this proceed with the following steps.
Power on the beltpack with the battery in.
Once the beltpack has acquired its role insert a micro-USB cable attached to a 5 watt 5VDC power supply (or USB charger) into the beltpack. This will bypass the charging process allowing the beltpack to operate normally with or without the battery enclosed.
