Wireless: Can I use RS703 directly with FSII-BASE-II?

Question: Do I need to use a TWC-701 when connecting RS703 belt pack to FSII-BASE-II? I am only using FSII-BASE-II and RS703 belt pack. No other Encore equipment in the system.

Answer: No you don't need a TWC-701. As long as you don't need to interface the RS703 belt pack to an Encore power supply,

You can run the RS703 belt pack in RTS mode (dip switch 8 set to on) and use both channels with one XLR.

You also get call signal on both channels in this mode. Configure as you would an RTS beltpack (see solution Wireless: Can I use RTS BP325 with FSII BASE II?)

You will need to make a Y-split cable: (FSII Base II) 2x XLR to 1x XLR (RS703)
