Wireless: Tempest BP activates Global IFB on Eclipse Pico frame to Studio Talent via VOX activation

Question:  I have an Eclipse Pico system and a Tempest Wireless system connected to it via 4-wires, but the two units are in different racks so making any extra cable connections between the two units is not possible at this time.  My director wants to access the studio talent via their wireless IFBs using the "B" channel of the Tempest Wireless system while wearing a Tempest beltpack.  Can this be done?
Answer:  Yes, the Tempest System can be used to make a Global IFB talk to the Eclipse system IFB talent in the studio, since the Tempest base station is not in the same area as the Pico frame we cannot use a relay on Tempest to trigger a Pico frame GPI, but we can use a route activated by a VOX activation to achieve the same result.  The drawing and the ECS / EHX software setup instructions for a VOX activated route are shown below.

Eclipse Software Programming Instructions
In Eclipse software create a route from the Tempest channel B port to the IFB destination port, activate route with a talk assignment
In Eclipse software create a Control label and attach the route created in the previous step
In Eclipse software ports menu highlight the Tempest channel B port.  In the advanced settings select “Attached Control Options” and attach the control label from the previous step in the “VOX Action” box.
Scroll to the VOX options box in advanced settings and set the following options:
Audio Gating Delay:  set to 1 second
       Audio Gating:  set checkmark
Audio Destination Threshold:  set a VOX level
Apply changes to Eclipse software / frame
Activate talk on Tempest beltpack talk button B (talk button should be non-latching), when BP user talks the dimming occurs to the IFB destination and Tempest audio goes to IFB user
