Wireless: Using FSII BaseII can I get 2x GPIO to trigger Radio basestations
We have to integrate FSII with 2 x Motorola radios and we need two relay contacts for PTT. Can this been achieved on the FSII-BASE-II?
On the FSII base (@ ver 1.0.12.3) there is only one available GPO (tied to stage announce). See solution "Wireless: Which relay is used for stage announce on the FSII BASEII and how does it work?" for details.
For both FSII-base-5 (old-style basestation) and FSII-base-II, connect 1x TW-47 to PLCHA and 1x TW-47 to PLCHB
The TW-47 is triggered by the call signal from the base unit. this will trigger the relay on the TW-47 and provide 2 x GPO and audio to the radios.
The FSII BP operator has to press the CALL button on their BP to send the call signal (and therefore talk) to the TW-47.
Note: TW-47 units draw twice the current of an RS700 beltpack (60 mA during audio & call light use). The Base-II provides 850mA per pair of 2-wire ports (A/B and C/D). It is recommended to use 1 x PS-702 unit to power the TW-47 units.

Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
