Wireless: We want to integrate BS210 and WH220 for our floor director to communicate to the control room
Question: We want to integrate BS210 and WH220 for our floor director to communicate to the control room. One of our engineers had a concern that that the equipment would get interference from cell phone frequencies. Is that something to be concerned about?
Answer: No need to be concerned. Our bases are FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) systems. Thatmeans the transmit carrier hops across the 2.4G WiFi spectrum very rapidly. They are not ina space long enough to be a problem. There is also data encryption built in as well.
