Older analog UHF wirelessintercoms are very spectrally inefficient. By replacing a UHF wireless intercomsystem that has eight belts with a Tempest system you would make room for 12 to16 more wireless microphones and/or wireless IFBs. Available UHF spectrum isshrinking worldwide and more users are being packed into a smaller area.Replacing old, analog wireless intercoms is an excellent way to combat thisgrowing problem and handle the increased demand for wireless productionequipment.
