LQ-SIP: how much bandwidth does a SIP line take

what is the bandwidth consumption from the LQ to the IPBX when the 8 lines are connected simultaneously. Can you please provide an estimation ?

Each SIP call takes 64kbps for audio (G.711 or G.722) + RTP overhead for 20 ms packets

(42bytes/packet * 50 packets per second = 2kBps or 16kbps) approx. 70kbps.

8x SIP calls would be 560kbps, that is standard for any SIP call of this nature, LQ or not

50 x SIP lines would be 3.5Mbps.

Each LQ sends a keep-alive to the SIP server every 15 seconds, not significant in bandwidth.
