PTP aware (TC/BC mode)

*some switches have broadcast storm control setting. If it’s enabled, it treats PTP clock data like a broadcast and starts dumping the packets. Disable the broadcast storm control

Jul 11, 2024 Note when in BC mode , the 9300 only supports 2-STEP PTP mode

Feb 21, 2025 SEE NOTE ABOUT PoE ISSUES WITH V17.14

Good - See Remarks

IMPORTANT NOTE - There is a known bug in v17.14 and earlier where the PoE does not auto negotiate with the IP Transceiver. The switch automatically provides PoE++, which leads to the IPT failing. It is recommended you have the switch on v17.16 or better.
