Wireless: Which is the better way to upgrade Freespeak II beltpacks, OTA or via USB?

Freespeak II beltpacks (applies to 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz versions) can be upgraded via the Over The Air (OTA) using
the base station / Eclipse EHX frame system transceiver antennas or via a USB connection to the host computer that
is connected to the base station / Eclipse frame. Both methods of upgrade have certain advantages depending on how
many beltpacks need to receive upgrades and whether the system is in use / not in use.
OTA UPGRADE:
This method of upgrade allows the user to upgrade any and all Freespeak II beltpacks that are registered to the system and operating at the time of the upgrade.  The firmware file (.fww file) is sent to the frame / base station, it is then uploaded to all the connected transceiver antennas on the system, when the upload is finished the system drops offline and the transceiver antennas broadcast the firmware upgrade to all the beltpacks that are on and registered to the system.
The upgrade once uploaded to the transceiver antennas takes approximately 5 minutes, beltpacks will display the progress of the upgrade on the LCD display, at the end of the upgrade the beltpacks will reset and go back online, at this time the beltpacks are ready to be used with the system.
The file upload ot the antennas take about 10-15mins (there is progress information in the EHX or base-station diagnostics screen)
The file upload to the FSII BPs takes about 5 mins once the file has been uploaded to the antennas
The advantage of this upgrade process is that all beltpacks are done at once while the system is offline.
USB UPGRADE:
This method of upgrade allows the user to upgrade one beltpack at a time on a base station / Eclipse frame using a USB hardwired connection from the beltpack to  the host computer running the Configuration Editor or EHX software.  The user initiates a firmware update, selects the appropriate .fws firmware file and starts the firmware update to the beltpack, this takes the beltpack offline while the firmware is uploaded to the USB connected pack.  When the pack is updating the LCD will display the progress of the update which takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.  When the update is complete the pack will reset and go back online.
The advantage of this upgrade process is that the system stays online while the beltpack is upgraded, but packs are only updated one at a time.
