Wireless: Can I use the SG-100 sync dongle or the SG-120 sync generator on Tempest 900 base stations?

Question:  We are installing multiple Tempest 900 base stations and will be using accu-sync to prevent frequency hopping issues.  We noticed that the SG-100 or SG-120 sync dongle / sync generator are available for the Tempest 2400 product line for seamless roaming, can these sync products allow us to sync together Tempest 900 base stations as well?
Answer:  No, the SG-100 sync dongle and the SG-120 sync generator are only designed to work with Tempest 2400 base stations.  The RF system architecture of the Tempest 900 products is different and thus does not allow for the use of the SG-100 or SG-120 devices when accu-syncing Tempest 900 base stations together.
Note:  Up to 5 Tempest 900 base stations can be synced together, they must be in the same network group in order to setup the correct hopping pattern.
We recommend to power up each basestation in turn and wait until the unit is fully operational - then if using V3.0 firmware check the link quality of the RF / Data signal between beltpack to basestation is at LQ = 99 or above for best RF and audio results. Before powering on the next basersation and checkling the LQ number on that basestation.
If the LQ is below 95 - then re-power the basestation and check the LQ value
