Wireless: Why Don't I see a charging LED when charging my CellCom Beltpack?

Question:  Why don't I see a charging led on my CellCom beltpack when I plug in the charger PSU to the beltpack charging jack?
Answer:  There could be several reasons for this issue to appear.
  1. Check the Beltpack version.  Mark I beltpacks do not incorporate this feature, it is only available on Mark II versions.  The easiest way is to check the beltpack serial number, Mark II beltpacks have a letter either preceding the four digit serial number or a letter after the four digit serial number.  Another way to identify a Mark II beltpack is the battery sled, these are equipped with a window to see the batteries in the sled.
  2. If the batteries do not charge in the beltpack and the charging led doesn't light up then the charging jack may be defective internally preventing the batteries from recharging.  If this is the case the beltpack should be returned for factory repair.
  3. Last but not least, check that the battery sled has batteries in it and that they are oriented in the sled properly.
It is always advisable to check the batteries in the the battery sled to verify that NiHM batteries are inserted before charging.
