Wireless: Can I use my PRC-2 receiver with either a PTX-3 or PTX-2 transmitter?
The PRC-2 personal IFB receiver will work with either the PTX-3 IFB transmitter or PTX-2 IFB transmitter.
The PTX-3 transmitter is the current version IFB UHF transmitter, it has a LCD display and allows the adjustment of audio parameters via a digital menu that doubles as the frequency selection screen.
The PTX-2 transmitter was the previous generation of UHF wireless IFB transmitter, it used a LED display for frequency adjustment and a manual control to adjust the audio level on the transmitter.
