Tempest Tip of the Week - Unlimited Wireless Belt Stations
Did you know…? Shared mode supports an unlimited number of wireless users per BaseStation. All of the BeltStations can dual listen/talk and BeltStation users can individually select which channels they listen to just like normal mode. All of the BeltStations may talk, but only five BeltStations may have talk enabled at any one time. If a sixth BeltStation tries to talk that user receives a busy signal. To utilize shared mode v2.0 firmware must be installed on the BaseStation and all BeltStations and all of the BeltStations must have v1.15 radio firmware. Tempest Shared mode provides flexibility and a significant cost advantage!
