Tempest BaseStations have six relays that can be used to control external devices. Each BeltStation can control one of five individual relays plus the shared Stage Announce relay. The Stage relay is activated anytime the Stage button is pressed. The individual relays can be assigned per BeltStation to one of a number of triggers such as a change in Talk or Channel status, Stage button, Enter button or low battery. These relays can be used in conjunction with any GPIO device or Matrix intercom to do a multitude of tasks. Tempest relays let you interface to almost anything!
