Wireless: Can I use Tempest 900 and Tempest 2400 Co-located together?

Question:  I plan on using Tempest 900 and Tempest 2400 systems together at a large event.  Can they be used together and do they need to be connected via the Accu-Sync cable?  How many Tempest 900 systems can I connect together?

Answer:
For the Tempest 2400, a maximum of ten BaseStations can be co‐located together. For the Tempest 900, a maximum of five BaseStations can be co‐located. Through their wired intercom connections, it is now possible to combine up to fifteen BaseStations in this manner, using ten Tempest 2400s and five Tempest 900s. Please note that while the 2‐wire and 4‐wire interfaces are completely compatible between the Tempest 900 and Tempest 2400, under no circumstances should an Accu‐Sync cable be used between the two types of bases. The units will not function properly. It is, however, REQUIRED to use an Accu‐Sync cable between multiple Tempest 900 bases and a SEPARATE Accu‐Sync cable between multiple Tempest 2400 bases.
