Wireless: How do I register a CellCom / FreeSpeak I belt pack to a base station?
1) Turn on the beltpack
2) Plug in the PC-to-BP cable (DB9 to mini TRS) (TRS = 3.5mm jack)
3) Open the GUI (Config Editor) and retrieve the map from the base.
This can be done via the special serial cable that came with the unit, or via IP (Ethernet connection).
For IP, put your computer on the same subnet as the base station.
4) In the BELTPACKS tab, select the Beltpack number that you wanted to register to this slot
5) Hit the UNREGISTER button
6) Hit the REGISTER button
7) After a few seconds, the Belt Pack’s serial number shows up in the Serial Number window
8) Repeat steps 4-7 if you want to register other beltpacks.
9) After registering all the beltpacks, hit SAVE AND APPLY to send the new config into the
base station and reset.
