1. How to activate programming jack on base station?
Rotary programming switch on recessed area of front panel needs to be reset to position "0" in order to allow programming module and software to talk to the base station.
2. Software gives the following error message, "invalid frequency split selected". How do I clear out this message?
This message is the result of someone trying to program the base station to a frequency split it isn't designed to work on. To fix this issue the Q700 factory programming software needs to be used to flush out the corrupted programming and restore the base station back to the proper frequency splits which can be found on the serial number frequency split label.
