Wireless: How can I tell when my Tempest beltpack is fully charged?
Question: I'm recharging a single Tempest 2400 beltpack using the individual wall mount charger, how can I tell when the pack is fully charged, will I see a message on the LCD display?
Answer: If the Tempest beltpack is switched off and the individual charger is then connected in order to charge the battery.
During the charging process the beltpack LCD screen will show the message "Charging" and provide a percentage # indicating the percent of recharging completed. When the Tempest 2400 beltpack has a fully charged Lithium-Polymer battery the battery icon on the LCD screen of the beltpack will show a fully charged battery icon. The beltpack will also display the following messages on the LCD screen:
Charging 100%
Charge Mode
Radio Off
Note: The beltpack can also be charged while the unit is switched on
