Wireless: Are the DX410 and DX210 BP and Base units compatible

Customer Questions
Does the DX410 work in the same way as the DX210 is concerned when it comes to BP and BS compatibility?
Can you network 2 x DX410 base stations to work as one system when the one station is set on 2 Channel mode and the other to 1 Channel mode?

Can a dual channel pack be used on a station when its set on 1Channel mode and vice versa?
Can both single and dual channel packs work on a station simultaneously that is set to 2 Channel mode?

Solutions DX410 BPs are not compatible with another DX base stations

Solution update Nov 2016
Due to the new EU RF hopping pattern for 2.4G systems DX410 does not support the master and secondary mode operation

Yes a DX410 base on 2 chnl mode can be set as master and a DX410 base in 1 chnl mode can beset in secondary mode-

The units will auto-sync the RF transmission  , you will still need to link them via 2-wire PL or 4-wire to pass audio between the two base stations.  A BP410 can only be registered to one base at a time, it will follow the chnl mode setting of the base station it is registered with.

-     If registered to a 2 chnl base then it will operate in 2 chnl mode -     If registered to a 1 chnl base it will operate in 1 chnl mode

There is no active way to sync DX210 and DX410 but systems should work fine in tandem. The reason for this is that DX410 has been improved in areas of packet loss and frequency hopping, so the primary/secondary feature was not implemented at release. The advice would be to ensure the bases are not stacked on top of each other in the same rack (i.e. the antennas should not be collocated).
