Wireless: Can I use Tempest 2400 with both locally mounted antennas and a CCT-RT remote transceiver / antenna ?

Question:  I am using a Tempest 2400 system with a remote transceiver module approximately 600 feet away from the base.  Can I also use antennas locally at the base to create a second zone of coverage at the base station?
Answer:  No, when the CCT-RT remote transceiver is plugged into the Tempest CM-244 base station the base station's local radio module is shut off so the local antenna connectors on the base station are not active.
We also recommend that you power cycle the basestation when you connect the Remote antenna
