Wireless: We are looking to remote the antenna for an installation on our PRO850 base station. We see that the remote kit has only 30' of wire, can we extend this to 75' as well?

The 30’ cable is Times Microwave LMR-195 and has BNC male plugs on both ends. For runs longer than 30’, we recommend LMR-400 or better cable (some places use LMR-600 or Heliax). Neither RG58 nor RG8 work well because they aren’t low-loss. We’ve seen users have to rip out cables after the contractor ignored the specs and installed RG58 to save money. It is possible to go out as far as you are asking about but keep in mind that the longer the cable means less RF power at the end of the cable run. Other factors to consider will be distance is from the antenna and misc RF hindering structures.
