Wireless: Tempest 2 Ch beltpack won't pair with Tempest base station
If a Tempest beltpack won't pair to a Tempest base station using the 3.5mm pairing cable check that the beltpack has the proper firmware version. A beltpack with 1.00.01 firmware will probably not pair with a base station running 1.01.00 firmware. The current released version of firmware for both the beltpacks and base station is 1.01.00.
It is usually advised to run all system components at the same firmware version level, Clear-Com doesn't support system operation with different levels of system firmware installed.
Note: When updating beltpack firmware make sure the battery charge is at a high level as the new firmware may not take on the pack if the battery is at a low level/nearly depleated. The beltpack will reject the firmware update if doesn't think that it can complete the update before it runs out of battery life.
