Wireless: What are the charging times for the CellCom 5-way battery pack charger?
The CEL-FS-CHRGR 5-way battery pack charger has 5 charging bays with LED charge status indicators:
Red LED indicator (on): Fast Charging
Red LED indicator (flashing): Fault, remove battery pack and check for short circuit in pack
Green LED indicator (on): Trickle charging
Green LED indicator (flashing): Battery pack is fully charged (charging will stop at this point)
Battery comparability and lifespan
The charger is strictly designed for use with NiMH batteries, danger of explosion or injury could occur if incorrect batteries are used. Do Not use alkaline batteries in the charger.
Using good quality NiMH rechargeable batteries with high amperage ratings offer the best and longest performance. These batteries will last for many charge cycles and will power the beltpack for approximately 8 to 10 hours continuously.
If you are charging the batteries twice daily, then the battery lifetime would be approximately 8 months. It is recommended that the batteries be replaced every 4 to 6 months in these circumstances.
