Wireless: How many FSII 2.4 GHz beltpacks will a Transceiver antenna support?

Firstly there is no IP transceiver for 2.4GHz. The IPT for FreeSpeak II is 1.9GHz only.

The FSII-24-TCVR-US and FSII-24-TCVR-EU transceiver antenna supports 4 beltpacks per antenna.

On larger Eclipse based FSII Integra systems the allowable number of FSII-BP-24 beltpacks per E-QUE card is:

  • Maximum of 40x FSII-BP-24 beltpacks per radio space.
  • Each FSII-24-TCVR supports upto 4x FSII-BP-24 beltpacks

Note on 1.9Ghz DECT based FSII systems:

  • Maximum of 50 DECT beltpacks per radio space*
  • In the US 25 DECT beltpacks per radio space is allowed*

* These are theoretical limits, actual limits are likely to be 40 and 20 respectively due to some system losses in the RF spectrum
