Wireless: What is the Antenna Pattern for Cellcom and FreeSpeak Active Antennas

The radiation pattern from the CEL-TA / PD2201 active antenna stalks are toroidal (doughnut shaped), which is omnidirectional in the horizontal plane when the stalk is mounted vertically. The attached image is a stylised 3D diagram to show the profile of the radiation pattern together with a vertically mounted stalk (which is not to scale).
The CEL-TA or PD2201 can be mounted with the antenna stalks pointing up or down. However Clear-Com recommends installing the unit with the stalks pointing down. Also the whole antenna box should not be mounted directly to a wall if possible
