Wireless: What is an FS II Antenna Group? in EHX

Explanation of Antenna Groups menu in EHX
Ideally you want all your antennas overlapping and when they are you can get them all sync’d together which is necessary for handovers.
But you might have 2 or more ‘groups’ of antennas where there is no overlap between the groups. In this case you want to handover within
each group and therefore you need to ensure each antenna in a group is sync’d to every other antenna in the group  - but you would not be
able to sync to the other groups because there is no overlap. The Antenna Groups will allow us to specify the groups of antennas so when
the sync function is complete we can sync each group.

To access the Antenna Group menu go to Cards and Ports, select the  E-QUE FS II card,  highlight an antenna port which opens the advanced
menu options on the right hand side.  Click on the Antenna Group drop down button to open the settings.  From the Antenna Groups dialog screen click on new to create a new antenna group.  When done creating groups click on “Apply” to save changes, then click on “Close” to close the dialog screen.  Name and Description fields are editable by the user.

From the Diagnostics Antenna Roles screen the users will see the available FSII-TCVR-19 antennas grouped per their names in the vertical antennas column.  The horizontal column will display beltpack roles and the black dots beltpacks  that are on and registered to the system.
