Wireless: Does Program / Aux In on the DX210 base send the audio to all BP210 beltpacks?
Question: My end user is asking a question about the Aux in / program feed on the DX210 base station. They are wanting to run some program through this to the beltpacks / communicators which is controlled from the front panel of the DX 210. Question is …. Are individual beltpacks able to opt in or out of this feed or are all they stuck with it, like it or not ?
Answer: On the DX210 system the program input is globally routed to all the registered beltpacks on the system, they cannot individually opt out of receiving the program feed. The base station can route the program feed to either IC1 or IC2 and adjust the level, but that is the extent of the control functionality on the base.
