Wireless: Lockout key settings for Tempest 3.0 Seamless Roaming Systems

All Tempest 2400 Base Stations with version 3.0 firmware and radio module version 1.18 in a roaming group must have the same Lockout Key. There are a total of 256 Lockout Keys to choose from. The Lockout Key can be any number between 0 and 255. It is the combination of Network Number + Lockout Key that uniquely identifies a Base Station radio to its corresponding beltpack radios. There is, however, no direct correlation between the Lockout Key and either the Radio Band or the Network Number, so any number may be chosen without regard to other radio parameters. The only real advice here is that it is probably best to pick a Lockout Key other than 255 as that is the default from the factory.
VERY IMPORTANT!   All Base Stations in a roaming group must have the same Lockout Key.
Note: When changing the lockout key, all beltpacks will have to be re-paired with the base station.
