Wireless: What do the 4 dip switches inside a DX-200 basestation do

The factory default settings of the internal dip switch for a DX-200 base station are:Switch # 1 = OFFSwitch # 2 = ON (This varies depending on the revision of the base station.)Switch # 3 = OFFSwitch # 4 = OFF
Switches #1 & #2 are used within the factory and should remain in their original positions.
Switches # 3 and #4 functions are described in the DX-200 operator’s manual.
Switch #3 - (when set ON) is used to restrict ISO broadcast mode - Then selecting ISO+ on the base station would then give you the option to press the ISO button on the beltpac to talk out of the AUX OUT connection and not just to the beltpacs.
Switch #4 - (when set ON) is used to set the base station into secondary mode. This allows the base station to synchronize and co-ordinate its RF transmissions and hopping patterns with a master base station. Please see the manual for details.
