Question: What level of support does Clear-Com provide regarding Frequency Coordination for Wireless IFB products / WBS-670/680 wireless intercom?
Answer: Clear-Com typically does not provide detailed frequencycoordination information using 3rd party frequency coordination intermod software programs. These types of programs find specific frequencies for wireless microphones, IFB or intercom products for use in a specific area when multiple sets of intermod free frequencies are required. These programs also rely and use FCC database information to factor in local analog and digital TV frequencies so that the specific wireless frequencies don't clash with local on air TV channels.
Clear-Com normally provides best frequency bandor group recommendations for our products based on customer provided locationuse info to determine local on-air TV for the location area using the FCC website database and or other 3rd party wireless frequency search website tools along with customer providedwireless microphone frequencies when other wireless is going to be used on site.
We also do not typically coordinate other manufacturer’s wirelessfrequencies or select bands unless prior arrangements are made.
