Wireless: Does the headset connector RW800 base support dynamic/electret mics?

Question:  Can I use both dynamic and electret headsets on the RW800 base station?  Is the headset connector auto sensing?
Answer:  The front panel 4-pin male headset connector will support headset impedances between 33 and 200 ohms.  On the rear panel there is a switch labeled "Headset Mic" which allows the user to select DYN for dynamic headset mic or ELEC for electret powered headset mics.  Therefore the user must determine the headset microphone type and set this switch accordingly.  The headset connector is not auto sensing.  The headset mic switch should not be left in the "ELEC" position if no headset is used so that if a dynamic headset is plugged in it will not be accidently damaged by the bias voltage present on the connector when the headset mic switch is in the "ELEC" position.
Note: the Sys800 is now obsolete
