Any base station with a serial number less that 1761 will need its PROM and SIMM upgraded before it can be upgraded to V2.0 or later

Any base station with a serial number above 1761 or has a seven digit serial number doesn’t need the PROM and SIMM change.


The sales part number for the PROM and SIMM upgrade is CEL-FS-BS-UPGRADE.


Solution updated 2-Jan-2015 Some of the items that make up part # CEL-FS-BS-UPGRADE. have become obsolete and we cannot purchase any more parts. Therefore systems with s/n below 1761 can no longer be upgraded to CellCom V2.0 or later
